Schedule Airline Failure Cover

ETI is working together with International Passenger Protection. ETI is a member of the panel of Insurers that underwrites the risk of the Schedule Airline failure cover.

As the name clearly suggests this policy will cover either the travelling public, the travel agent, tour operator or consolidator against the financial failure of any scheduled airline. For full particulars, please refer to the Certificate Wording (PPIPB) and the full Policy Wording (PPIPB).

This product can be sold as a stand alone item or it can be included in a travel insurance policy, credit card or club membership of any travel club.

For ease of reference you are covered for the following:
(a) all monies paid prior to flight departure;
(b) the cost of a return flight to the UK or onward flight(s) in order to complete the pre-arranged journey at the same standard as that booked.

You are not covered for the following:
The booking agent or consolidator, therefore it is the travel agents' commercial decision to book with them and thus their responsibility.
